- To create actual size solid models of internal organs - Rapid prototyping.
- For finite-element-method analysis (FEM analysis) and simulations.
- For Physiological Measurement functions(2D & 3D) - Fat, muscles, cartilage, bone, etc.
- of human and animal body.
- For industrial operations - Area, volume, angle and distance can be measured in 2D and 3D.

Product Details
The software developed reconstructs three dimensional shapes from a series of 2-Dimensional image slices in the Z direction such as CT scanned images and MRI scanned images. Our engineers have developed this product to suit the requirements from the customer. This project was carried out during our previous tenure.
The different tissues in the human body are represented by different radiation intensity (or range of intensities). Outlining iso-surfaces using Segmentation, and Surface Generation Algorithms are key to the reconstruction process. The reconstructed image can be rendered on the screen with different qualities like smooth shading, wire-frame, translucency, merging, zooming etc. Multiple 3D images can be rendered on the same view. Editing on 2D image is also supported.
