Our engineers who worked in Indian Space research Organization developed a set of dynamic simulators, one for each stage of the launch vehicle. The simulators help in conducting a comprehensive validation of the mission-critical ground systems to declare them as fit for use.
Business Situation
Launch support systems in space centers are very complex by nature. Testing of such systems can even be more complex. There are a variety of commands to be issued and hundreds of parameters to be verified for correctness. A leading Space Research center required to develop dynamic simulators as part of automated test system to validate and qualify their ground based launch vehicle checkout system.
Solution
Our engineers who worked in Indian Space research Organization developed a set of dynamic simulators, one for each stage of the launch vehicle. The simulators help in conducting a comprehensive validation of the mission-critical ground systems to declare them as fit for use. The simulator plays a critical role in testing normal sequences as well as hazardous error conditions and confirming that the Checkout System is capable of taking care of all automatic safety operations, especially during the countdown sequence.

Key Features
- Simulation of responses to commands from ground systems
- Chamber & Tank pressure variations with valve open/close Commands
- Load conditions with power on/off commands
- Battery voltage monitoring
- Simulation of serial link commands and parameters on RS 422
- Simulate various error conditions and responses onboard
- Configure specific values for each parameter
- Easy to use GUI
Benefits
Complete testing of ground system Reduced cycle time to complete all test runs Easy testing of complex error conditions Reduced manual effort and man power |
