Our client, a leading player in radar device manufacturing, focusing on traffic monitoring systems using radar devices, has recognized the need for an accessible solution. For this, the client devised a strategy to develop a mobile application mirroring the features and functionalities of their existing desktop application. In pursuit of realizing our client's vision, TA has successfully advanced the development of a mobile application catering to both Android and iOS platforms. Both applications boast wireless connectivity, alleviating users from cumbersome efforts.
For iOS applications, establishing a connection is facilitated through Bluetooth, with the condition that users need to be in proximity to the radar device. In the Android realm, users enjoy two distinct connection options: ‘Bluetooth’ and ‘Add Remote Radar’. The Bluetooth connection mirrors the iOS counterpart, while the ‘Add Remote Radar’ feature requires users to input the IP address and port number of the relevant radar for connection. Notably, Android users can connect to various radar types such as Armadillo Tracker, Speedlane Pro, Armadillo Crossfire, among others. The application dynamically adjusts its features based on the specific radar device in use, providing a tailored and adaptive user experience. The solutions incorporated were:
